UPDATE: Thursday, 6/28 - The secondary childcare modular has arrived (delivery needed to be pushed to Thursday at 7:00am, and thus a time-laspe video wasn't able to be made--sorry!). Williams Scotsman delivered the unit this morning and will be spending the next couple of days conducting assembly and setting the modular into place.  Once situated, the remaining site work will be completed prior to occupancy in August.  This secondary unit has allowed the Parks and Recreation Dept. to expand enrollment for the ClubRec afterschool program to better meet the needs of the community.  Thank you to the Brisbane School District for working with us to make this possible and thank you to our dedicated Public Works team for managing the logistics!

See more photos from today on the Brisbane Parks and Recreation Facebook page.

UPDATE: Friday, 6/22 -

The temporary childcare modular is scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday morning starting at 9:00am.  Stay tuned for a time-lapse video showing it being set into place!

What's happening at BES you ask?  The Public Works team is working with a contractor and PG&E to perform the site preparation work needed for the incoming modular.  The City is renting a secondary modular unit in the coming school year to allow for expansion of the afterschool program based on demand.  See the photos below for work that took place earlier this week:

PG&E installed a temporary power pole to provide electrical access to the rental modular unit.

The storage shed needed to be moved to allow delivery of the rental modular unit.  Above, crews are paving over the spot where the storage shed was previously located.

All patched up and looking good!

More progress pictures to come as the project moves through its various stages!
