The City Clerk is the local official who administers democratic processes such as elections, access to city records, and all legislative actions ensuring transparency to the public.  The City Clerk acts as a compliance officer for federal, state, and local statutes including the Policiticl Reform Act, the Brown Act, and the Public Records Act.  The City Clerk manages public inquiries and relationships and arranges for ceremonial and official functions.

Maddy Act

In compliance with the requirements of the Maddy Act, California Government Code Section §54972, the following appointment list of the City of Brisbane’s Commission, Board and Committee members is posted on an annual basis.  The City of Brisbane encourages residents to apply for positions in efforts to build an applicant pool representative of the entire community.
