3 Month EV Usage Stats

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

May 14, 2018 marked 3 months from the opening of our EV Charger at the Brisbane Village Shopping Center and puts us halfway through our free charging (for sessions <45 minutes) pilot period.  The past month included a “charger fault” that rendered the station unusable for roughly a week.  Fortunately the station usage rebounded quickly and we even saw our highest ever one-day energy use since it came back online!

Charging Stats Through 5-14-18:

  • 193 unique drivers
  • 13,270 total kWh dispensed, an average of 147.4 kWh/day
  • 1,006 total sessions, 11.18 average sessions per day
  • Average session length is 30:53 minutes, with ~84% of sessions 45 minutes or less
  • ChargePoint estimates we’ve avoided 5573 kg of GHG emissions, the equivalent of planting 143 trees and letting them grow for 10 years!

Lastly, we are working to have a sign noting the “DC Fast EV Charging Station” added to the Brisbane Village Shopping Center sign near Bayshore.  More on that when it's up!
