2 Seats Open: Public Art Selection Committee

PUBLIC ART SELECTION COMMITTEE MEMBERS NEEDED
PROJECT: SKATEBOARD PARK PUBLIC ARTWORK
NUMBER OF MEMBERS TO BE APPOINTED: 2
ANTICIPATED TIME COMMITMENT: MAY - JULY 2019

 

Due to a newly approved City Council Public Art Project, applications are being accepted to fill two seats on the Public Art Selection Committee (Skateboard Park Public Artwork Project) for a term through July 2019 or until project completion.
 

The General Duties and Responsibilities of the Committee Members are:
 

  1. Select an artist, or group of artist for the Skateboard Park Public Artwork Project through a public process and make recommendations on the artist or artist group to the City Council.
  2. Meet with the selected artist, or group of artists, in developing the Conceptual Design Plan that meets the artwork and location criteria.
