The City’s Operating Budget helps set the policies, goals, and priorities for the City and is one of the most important documents the Council works on.  Its areas of impact are three-fold: 1.) It helps guide staff in carrying out the Council's decisions.  2.) It helps communicate to staff and the Community how resources will be allocated in the upcoming two years throughout the City.  3.)  It allows standards to be set so that the City can see whether it is reaching its service delivery goals.  To read the City’s 2018-2020 Budget online, which is also a searchable PDF, please click here.
