May 17-23, 2020 is National Public Works Week

May 17-23 is Public Works Week! Despite the current public health crisis, we want to recognize the individuals that allow our communities to be livable - whether it’s providing running water, building roads, and maintaining infrastructure. That’s all Public Works! Plus, they are the ones that first "returned" to work on Monday, May 4th. But of course, they never really left; they just worked with reduced crews to perform the inspections they have to do every day of the year at the sewage lift stations, water pump stations, and water reservoirs. Note: the City Council will be shown a longer video at their meeting on Thursday, this one’s just the teaser.

Thank you for all you do, Public Works Operations & Maintenance, Utilities, Engineering, and Sustainability divisions!
