- Employees contribute to CalPERS (rates vary for Classic/PEPRA and are dependent on union membership)
- Schedule an appointment through CalPERS for any questions regarding services and benefits.
- Voluntary option to enroll in 457(b) deferred compensation plan (Company match available, percentage varies depending on classification and union membership
- City employees who qualify may choose to participate in the alternative 457 Deferred Compensation Plan, which enables tax-advantaged retirement savings and investments.
