General Information

Middle School Dances are put on by Brisbane's Youth Advisory Committee for students enrolled in 6th-8th grade. Parks & Recreation Staff are present throughout the evening to ensure the safety & wellbeing of attendees. Dances are held at the Mission Blue Center from 7-9pm.

Doors open at 6:55pm and close at 7:15pm. Once the doors are closed, there are no "ins-and-outs", meaning attendees are not allowed to leave until 8:50pm or until picked up by a guardian who walks to the door.

ONLY City Staff, YAC members, and middle school attendees are permitted inside. If guardians or other guests want to take photos, they must be done prior to checking in or outside after 9pm. 

Attendees are expected to practice safety, respect, and responsibility. Failure to meet those expectations will result in a call to guardians, early dismissal, and possible suspension from future dances. 

Cell phones are permitted, however if we find they have been used to harass or bully other attendees, those responsible will be sent home and banned from any upcoming dances.
